Turning Spring Cleaning into an App

Spring holds the promise of some fantastic things. The sight of melting snow and the sound of chirping birds is something that brings joy to everyone’s heart. But that joy is often turned to drudgery as the realities of adulthood sink in. Because where there’s spring there’s also a need for spring cleaning. It’s one of those seemingly inescapable realities of life. And experience always shows that it can’t really be put off. It’s just not possible to really relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of spring when one knows that there’s still a lot of chores to do at home. It’s hard not to wish it was as simple as using an app to signal for a ride. However, a growing number of people are discovering that it really can be that easy.

Using an app to match freelancing drivers with people who need a ride has been around for a while now. But a company called Handy is taking that idea and expanding on it in a much needed direction. Just as driving in heavy traffic is something most people would rather not deal with, so are most aspects of spring cleaning. And in a similar way there’s a lot of people out there who are interested in taking on those chores for a short period in exchange for an agreed upon fee. Handy handles the payment, scheduling, and job listings. The person with the chores simply needs to post a task within Handy. A large group of freelancers are constantly looking through those listings in order to find a good match. If both parties agree to it, they can head right on over to tackle whatever task was put into the system.

This is one of the big reasons why one can’t simply call a cleaning company in to take care of it. There’s always going to be too many spring cleaning tasks that are unrelated to a cleaning company’s abilities. But Handy’s scope is as large as the people who sign up to do freelancing through it. This typically covers a wide variety of people. Handy is careful to only take on the best of the best. But even with these high standards they’ve been able to gather together many thousands of talented people. Each with skills and interests that make them more than a match for any aspect of spring cleaning. Freelancers are able to make money when they have a few extra hours in the day. And home owners can finally do spring cleaning with just a few button presses using Handy.

  1. The true power of this system can be seen by taking another look at spring cleaning. The term itself is a broad banner which covers a multitude of different chores. It is the only thing that uk essays reviews might have been able to review for them which might not be too far from the truth.
